Grooming competitions that allow pet professionals to showcase their talents at Ontario’s largest pet event. This exciting event brings together all levels of groomers from across Canada to compete for the title and grand prize.

Cash prize for the highest point achievers per day
1st $300, 2nd $150 and 3rd $100

Description of Competition:

Grand Finale will take place November 20, 2022. All entries from CPE Transformation classes will be entered into the points system, for a chance to win grand prize worth $5000.00

(classes are entry level, meaning they are ideal for experienced pet professionals, who are new to grooming competitions, have not placed more than one first place in an Intermediate level grooming competitions)

Any Other Purebred:
any purebred not listed in other classes

Mystery Groom
a fun competition where we will provide the dog for you!

any sizes of Poodles in any confirmation or breed profile trim

Salon Freestyle
any purebred or mixed breed dog not in traditional style. Example Shih Tzu in a Teddy trim, Poodle in a Bedlington trim, Asian Fusion etc.

First Judge – Marcia Strong

Marcia Strong is a certified master groomer with over 15 years experience. Having worked under some of the best groomers in the world Marcia is passionate about sharing her knowledge. She an educator and certifier with CPPS and Global Groomers.

Having sold her store front salons she and her amazing team have moved back to her small home salon to offer one on one grooming. Marcia excels with nervous, anxious and hard to handle dogs.

Although her favourite breeds are terriers, Marcia’s heart belongs to the mixed breed class. She loves seeing the creativity that everyone brings.

Jessica Daltrey

Second Judge –  Jessica Daltrey

Jessica Daltrey is a certified master groomer, certifier with CPPS, a.previous grooming instructor at Pets Beautifuly Grooming School,  and specializes in the lost art of hand stripping.

She has four dogs of her own, two duck tollers, a Wire Fox Terrier and a Kerry Blue Terrier, all of which she does conformation shows and working titles (obedience, field, started scent and barn hunt).

Jessica has accomplished many achievements in the competition ring, both in Canada and USA . Her goals is to make Groom team Canada and breed wire fox terriers.
